Hello! There is be possibble to make place for foreigners ?
Hello!
There is be possible to make a place for english-speaking?
Sorry for no deutsch speaking, but my deutsch is almost nothing - from schools-time i remember only a few worlds.
My grand-grand parents come from germany before second world war, but sadly, i do not speak in german.
I search over internet for a good, big cub-bikes community, and cannot search anything as large, as that site.
Some year ago i had second interest about motorcycles ( althrought i am not young, my young days passes in soviet union and riding with izh-jupiter 2 350cc 2stroke motorcycle), and then - about cub-bikes as almost ideal city transport and commuter to work.
I see to Honda Wave 110i, but it is a bit too pricey ( about 1900 euro there), and only exemplar in Latvia's Honda be sold in this summer, as so, in this autumn i purchase chinesse like cub- jmstar jsd100.
Start a journal for this ( in russian, but i think, google translate can help):
http://safedrive.su/garagetehn/96-motor ... book1.html
Thanks for reading.

Re: Hello! There is be possibble to make place for foreigner
Здравствуйте Драго,
Добро пожаловать на наш форум!
I think you will find that you can put all your questions up here and get your answers in English as well, no problem.
But we had the question before whether we should make specific space for other languages and if I remember right,
it was decided against it as this is basically a German-speaking forum and expanding into English will blow everything out of proportion.
For an English speaking site, you might go to http://www.c90club.co.uk
They do also have a lot of members with newer Hondas and all Chinese derivates.
By the way, what does your new bike cost in Latvia?
С уважением,
Reinhard

Re: Hello! There is be possibble to make place for foreigner
Hello, Thrifter!
Thank you for kindly answer
My native language is latvian, but as ex-ussr member, my russian too is very good.
My english is worse, but more or less ok for understanding, reading, and writing ( i think so, but maybe i wrong )
Also thanks for link to uk cub lowers site!
I bought this my bike for 640 eur, but after purchase i found, a sportbike.lv has 125cc for about 700e!
http://sportbike.lv/index.php?page=shop ... =2&lang=en
But ok. Today i fuel up my cub and got almost 2.2 litres per 100 km - worst consumption ever, but on other hand - i mostly do very short rides ( about 10 km in each direction, and warm-up 5 minutes before ride, and outdoot temperature about +5 celsium - maybe it is ok.
Today there is only +3.5 C, do a short ride to shop, and also short ride with my yamaha xj600.
not bad.
Only a "bit" cold, and hard to start big yamaha.
Thank you for kindly answer

Re: Hello! There is be possibble to make place for foreigner
Hello Drago,
wellcome here. English is fine for questions. But for further informations try out a online-translator. Lettland at +3,5°C - that´s hard. We had 16°C this morning - but normaly too soft for this time of the year in the northwest of germany.
5 Minutes worm-up in the morning? I only do so, if I straight go on the Autobahn.
You see, my english is not better than yours
Greetings

Hello Rob!
I think, your english is far better than my
About using online translators - i reading this forum using google tranlation, and i see, how terribly it translate from one language to another.
For sure, more or less, general line is understand, but....
we also in this autumn got a very soft climate. In next week there also be about +10 celsium.
About warm-up - yes, i also be a in "no or minimal warmup" side, but thats carburator engine, as so as my old xj600 simply not react to accelerator if it not a minimal warmup reached.
Yes, i understand, i can start ride with choke on, but i think, better is a bit warmup time in cold weather. after about 5 minutes cylinder head come to a bit lukewarm for hand, and i can start my journey - first minutes with calm ride, for get engine warmed up a bit.
Sadly, very important thing - oil temperature - cannot get fast in about 40 celsium or higher, as so i must ride slowly. At my ride finish i get about 60 - 70 degree celsium of oil - measured by bottom of engine carter with infrared thermometer from china.
I also have a Louis oil thermometer on my xj600, and can say, it was lovered real oil temperature by about 15 - 20 celsium - proved by the same infrared thermometer.

Hello Drago
nice, that you find a way to http://www.honda-innova.de . The bike in your first link look like a Hisun HS100 ...a good friend 20km far from my home drive the Hisun .... in Germany you can`t registrate this bikes new with carburator since 2009 ... the emission is to high. Escuse my bad english ....but in past, i visit Latvia ........The BMW K100RS was my bike .......now i am happy with my Honda Innova 125i ... i had drove my cub more than 105.000km
Where you come from Latvia? In past i was in Riga and Jurmala .... look this video

Simply honda-innova.de is largest community in this direction. c90club at united kingdom looks significantly smaller community.
searching via google rulez
How durable this HiSun of your neighbour is? How itš max speed and fuel consumption?
About carburator - i think, it is large political bullshit. any honda cub and its clone is way too more clear than almost every car, especially in city, and if calculate emissions to one people movement.
There cannot be comparise one people drive BMW 750 and one people drive honda cub or clone in any state, i think.
If government really think about emissions, i think, there must be banned cars with power / mass ratio above some number, not 50 - 125cc mopeds without injection and catalizator.
You english is very ok, i think. In any way, i understand all
105tkm is very much for cub, i think. Engine not repaired \ swapped? how large is consumption? max speed not drop?
Oil consumption? how overall ? When i study honda wave 110 durability, i get number about 50 - 60 tkm proven....
I are from Riga, but plan to go live to rural site, when it is possible.
BTW, there i take video of riga old town in this autumn, filmed on chinese sj4000 action cam, and my cub:
http://youtu.be/zgAkVvRoa3w
Your video is interesting. so many years ago.
In that years i be right after profschool and drive a car, and work in my first jobs

Re: Hello! There is be possibble to make place for foreigner
Hi Drago
The hisun pilot is not my neighbour .... he lives 25km far from me and he has only 1200km. He has no experience with the hisun. But i know, that the quality is on low level ....
In past (dec/2008 ) i ask a good friend ..... should i buy 4 times a Hisun HS100 for each 300€ new or a second hand Honda Innova 125i with 2360km from Berlin for 1360€? I bought the Innova ..... last year i bought a second Honda Innova with 20.000km ..... this bike is only for good weather ....my green one is for all circumstances ( winter/rain/mud ).
I wrote here nearly 600 posts ..... i can`t tell you all of them in english ..... My hardest repair was the crankshaft .... look under "Schnatterndes Motorengeräusch" under Honda Innova -> Mängel
my last repair was the steering head bearings .... i took tapered roller bearings
i know my Inno had 3 times write-off. But with the help from the forum it runs, runs, runs
really you kann fix all problems by yourself.

Re: Hello! There is be possibble to make place for foreigner
Hi, Gausi!
About a quality - there no really "quality" things in that price diapason, as i research. even Thailand honda is not without some clues, and i be read, pre 2008 honda innowa \ wave be a better quality, than todays ones.
As i hear, in Viewtnam also is be a Hondas factory, who produce CUB's, but his quality is far worse than Thailand ones.
I also read a lot about chinesse cubs - and have a two proven historys - one with 125cc chinese has done about 20 tkm, and nothing to do except light bulbs replace and oil change -owner is very happy.
And another -zongsheng 50cc also with done about 25 tkm - in test to motowriter - also all in all happy with it, only to 25 tkm engine start to consumpt oil, and be disassembled. verdict -stuck oil rings, all other parts be in ideal condition.
As so, i do not say, all chinese cubs is bad. especially, almost all production now stays in china - i can bet, most of your home appliance, inslude computer, tv, wash machine and so on, really is built in china, and mainly you is ok with it's quality
China now looks like a japan after WW2 - in that day japan also be famouc with "crappy cheapy things" production...
I slowly read all this forum via google translate. I thing, i go to your repairs too...

Hello drago,Drago hat geschrieben:When i study honda wave 110 durability, i get number about 50 - 60 tkm proven....
Interesting. Were are These Infos from? Maybe You can give me a link for more informations.
My Wave has almost 40000km Run. No big Problems, no noises, no Oil cunsumption. It Runs,Runs,Runs!
I replace front brake pads 1 Time. And the chain Set 2 Times. About 2 rear Tires and 1 front tire. 1 Air Filter and One Ignition Plug . Thats it!
Train hard. Fight easy.
Re: Hello! There is be possibble to make place for foreigner
60 tkm, if i remeber correctly, had one of LV user - it has a nick Kascej57 in youtube.Pille hat geschrieben:Hello drago,Drago hat geschrieben:When i study honda wave 110 durability, i get number about 50 - 60 tkm proven....

I also speak with Nikolay13 - russian, who last couple years almost all year around live in Thai. It buy a wave 110i for herself, and had done 30 tkm without repairs, and say, it has seen wave's with 55 -60 tkm in odometer in thailand, in ok working order. Yet there can not be sure, there not repaired engine...
but all in all, as i understand, for cub engine about 50 - 70 tkm is not very big deal....as so as 400 - 700 tkm for cars engines

Hi Drago,
have you got a link to a repair-manual on a russian page? That would be helpful. Thanks.
Question: how much is/was a Innova 125i in Lettland? And the wave 110i?
Greetings

Robert
all useful links from that russian forums i got -some time ago i read all threads about cub, who i can find.
As i remember, i got c70 honda manual.
I do not see innova's in Latvia.
Only wave 110i in that spring, one exemplar, and he sells it in summer. Seller says, he order new one, but some weeks ago i do not see any wave in his assortiment.
that is official honda dealer: honda-moto.lv
he sells wave 110i for 1870 eur. In Germany ( mobile.de) there is cheaper new waves, but not such cheaper, for there is reason go to Germany, and purchase wave, and transport it to Latvia, i think
